I made a discovery with my key transponder just then. I live in an apartment with a shared garage so it has those main remote entry doors where everyone has a remote to get in. While i was opening my car door today though, i pressed and HELD on the open button on my keys and my garage door mysteriously opened.
This however does not work as perfectly as it does with my usual garage remote as sometimes it the shutters only open about 20cm and then goes back down again and also when the garage door is fully opened, it does not automatically close...
so just wondering if anyone else can do this and has worked out a way to use the car keys as a remote for the garage door as well
