Sloshing sound when braking

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone else has got this problem in their Jazz? Whenever I reverse into my garage and brake, I hear this sloshing sound in the car. It sounds like as if the fuel is sloshing around in the tank.

i think you just answered your own question... i hear the same thing as well and in my case it was fuel in tank :)

Yep same here especially when its full, its normal

Hmmm... thanks guys good to know that it's normal, but still find it abit wierd that it can actually be heard.. nvr had that in my other cars

definately from the fuel tank. u'll hear the 'sloshing' sound when ur tanks is 3/4 - full tank.

why can u hear it? because the tank is right under ur front seats :)

Also the reverb from the enclosed space amplifies the noise.

but nah, u can hear the sound even in a wide open area, ie open air carpark etc.

its not sumthing anyone shud worry about tho :)

I hear it most when I drive into my garage and turn of the engine I hear the slosh slosh hahah

Yah that's when I really notice it. I initally thought my wife left a 2 litre bottle in the car or something.

get some dynamat happening maybe or get ur fuel tank customized with
some slosh stoppers, like in fuel tankers and milk tankers lol

yup funny this topic came up cos my gf said whats that sloshing sound i i was like mmmm fuel? so yeh weird but normal.
