Hey guys, im new to this forum and am looking for an integra vti-r to purchase as my next car.

I've noticed that alot of the ones for around the $16 - $17k mark have close to 150,000 kms on the clock, which sounds about right for a 94 - 95 model car.

What i just wanted to ask was, how many kms do you guys have on your cars? any above 200,000? what kind of condition is the motor in?

Im just looking for an indication of how reliable i can expect the car to be...

cheers

The B18C is an awesome engine. I know that high km's are not desirable, but as long as the car has been regularly serviced and looked after, then you got not probs in a DC2 VTi-R.

Two of my mates have a '94 VTi-R, one with 170k kms and the other with 200k+ kms and they're still fairly shcmick with no probs.

I have just done over 70,000kms in my 94 VTi-R. I bought it for $17500 about six months months ago. If you are corncerned with kms like I was, wait until a decent car comes up, they are out there.....

mine's a '94 VtiR
Done 123,000K's purchased about 3 months ago.

Apart from the radiator leak I fixed thru the warranty, the B18C is ultra-reliable.

my 94 vtir is coming up to 170,000kms.

I've replaced the brake master and that's about it. As long as the car is serviced regular and looked after (washed, let it warm up, protect interior etc.) the car will go for a long long time.

Mine runs like new

190,000km on mine, the motor and transmission are still excellent. doesn't use up much oil- maybe 200ml between changes (5000km). internally stock and driven pretty hard too. the transmission doesn't seem to grind at all, which is strange given that i've driven integras with <100k km on them that had far nastier shifts than mine.
pulled 110kw at the wheels at dynodave's dyno after some hondata tuning.

i think the level of maintenance and the style of driving have more of an effect on the vehical than the number of km's travelled.
