Del Sol Jack

Hi everyone, as you know I only got my sol about 3 weeks ago. The jack came sitting in the spare tyre well but it dosen't fit under the floor board properly. The del sol jack is supposed to be mounted on the side of the boot, but this jack dosen't fit. Can a del sol owner please tell me if this is the propper OEM jack:

hmm well I only have an EG5, but THAT jack is different to mine.. which is genuine Honda jack and I assume the jack for the Del-Sol would be the same as is the same 'generation' of car...

Ill think youll find the jack you has is a holden jack, or it looks very similar anyway. Its pretty much identical to the vt commodore jack.

But hey a jacks a jack, im sure you wont be caring its not oem when your on the side of the road in the rain with a flat.

Ahh ok thanks guys, thats what I thought. Anyone know a good honda wrecker in Brisbane where i can pick up the real thing?

yep i second that it aint the oem jack.

i third it. oem jacks have a hole in the end bit where you slide in the handle instead of the 19mm nut.

Hahaha i've got a propper workshop jack but i'd rather not add 20kg to the weight of the car :P

I just had an idea though. Tommorow i'll give the mirage jack a try :)

yeah as everyone else said...that aint the delsol jack man...should have a flat piece to attach the jack arm too instead of the hex end...looks similar to the holden jack my old man has in his car...

ROFLLLL hahahahahha, i would have gave you my civic jack if you asked me to keep it :P.. they didnt even check for log books or anything... but yeh just try the wreckers then
