But not any EK series (bolt on) different size splines or EG/DC vs EK

I think Ben might be right here

I don't think so ay.

Last time i compared, ITR vs CTR steering wheels, the spline was definitely different sizes. DC/EG smaller than all other Honda's.

You'll need a socket set, screw drivers and a torx head screwdriver (i've got one if you need)

Theres a DIY on ozhonda somewhere. you could also ask ECU-MAN. He knows his shit inside out.

u sure it wasnt a CTR wheel on the BB6?

the spines are different in size.

The only way is to do a steering column swap (mate had it done)

the dude who asked me to install it said i was a ITR wheel based on what he was sold. I guess it could be CTR. I havnt had a ITR and CTR wheel side by side to compare.

thats the problem here lol - i have seen both ITR and CTR wheel side by side , externally they are exactly the same.

Internally , one has a EG/DC hub and the other has a EK hub.
EK hub has a 14mm bolt holding it on , while the EG/DC has a 19mm nut holding it on.
There is no way each steering wheel will "bolt onto" the other. You woul have to swap out the internals

So, the CTR EK4 should fit the EJ8?

for itr wheels to fit on ek u hv to swap the steering shaft of the ek to a eg/dc as well

yeah wouldnt u need the dc2 colum? and also barefoot had a prelude type s steering on his ek for a lil while so it seems that bb6 and ek's are interchangable. that could answer y u were able to fit it on an ej8
