Hey pplz,,,
What would be the next step in moding the a b16a2.
I have;
Cold Air Intake plazma man
4-2-1 headers xforce
madrel bent 2.25 inch pipping hi flow glass cat with a sports muffler
itr clutch and fly wheel
crome ecu
I have been wanting to do a few more things but i do not want to put myself out of pocked and i still would like to be able to drive it on the road.
Should i be looking at a feul pump or regulator, cam gears and ctr cams?

dont put any more money into modding the engine - it wont give such a good return for the $$$ spent.
Instead , put your money into SUSPENSION and TYRES.
Good shock/spring combo (such as koni yellow + eibach springs) and a nicer rear swaybar setup ( such as a ASR brace and EK9 rear swaybar)
Then , get a nice set of tyres and finally a nice full alignment and enjoy your road car :)

Already have some done to it. Lowered springs, looking at the koni yellows i can get them second hand for abt 400 front and rear. i got rimms already and tyres. I have spoken to a place near where i work they said that fuel regulator cams and cam gears would be a good thing it. They said that all that will do is just give u better pick up and my car doesn't have a rear swaybar Ej8 only front. so what ur saying about spending the money i prob better of turboing it?

You WILL put yourself out of pocket if you turbo porperly, and all those N/A mods will have to be upgraded.

Turboing is a big $$$ decision... N/A ftw :)
Fuel pressure regulator = cheap and you will notice the bump in power.
MSD Ignition system - people will say it's a waste of money but have they had it on their car?? I absolutely LOVE mine.SMOOOOOOTHHHHH :) No real power gain but feels so good! cost = $600 ish
Hondata style Intake Manifold gasket = cheap.
Strut bars (If you haven't already got them)
Won't hurt to upgrade your fuel pump to a Walbro 190 or 255.
Then save for Camshaft, camgears, springs and retainers.
Also make sure everything is running top notch. i.e.Power steering fluid,Transmission, coolant fluid flush.
Clean out the Throttle body and Intake Manifold.
Change your old belts (alterantor,PS,Air con and timing),water pump, thermostat.
That's all I can think of at the moment.

Ye I know. I would like to keep the car n/a. Alot of ppl say to turbo but i dont really think its a good idea. If you kno of any mods i can do more then what i have already. cams, cam gears, fuel regulator bigger intake bigger injectors?
I need to get a dyno tune done on the car so id like to get all the mods so i dont have to tune the car twice

Yes CTR cams will be a good idea but they cost around $500-$600 for second hand. Then valve spring needs to be upgraded as well.
I think after a tune as is now you'll be more then happy with the power.
Cam gears not needed, fuel regualtor not need, MSD stuff not needed and stock fuel pump is more then fine. All those items are just waste of moeny.

I definately felt a bump in power when I added my fuel regulator.
I stand by what I said about the MSD.Not a power adder but makes the car feel and run so smooth. The best I heard it described was 'hooked it up took the car for a spin and was like, that feels really nice I think, unhooked it all, took it for a drive and I couldn't wait to get back home and hook it all back up again'.I LOVE mine.I didn't waste money. It was $600 well spent, but like I said no real power adder.
I only really replaced my fuel pump cause it was 11 yrs old.I'm sure it had a lot more life left in it though.
