Hi guys just asking on behalf of a friend she was looking at a EG civic si 1993 done 130000km silver, think rego is about to run out the guy is asking for $7700

Its that a good price to pay?, she looking around to spend around $6000-$7500

and another thing when they start the car the revs shows around the 2000PRM which i think itsnt normal when the car is warming up, and its got a aftermarket exhaust on as well.=)

2000 is normal for a cold start. what model is it? 7700 seems a bit rich unless its a VTi in good condition :)

When I start mine up it idles between 1500-2000, so that's fine.

Timing belt change, water pump check and thermostat for the temp gauge are things to look at, other than the usual checks for leaks and whatnot.

Good luck to your friend :D
