my tweeters arent working :(

in my teg i have a pioneer 12" sub with clarion monoblock, jvc headdeck, jvc 4 channel, clarion 6.5" 4 ways in the rear and clarion 6.5" splits in the front

and it all ran fine until the 4 channel got installed with my left tweeter soon not working followed by my right tweeter and ive kept it going no higher then 40 on the head deck that the installer told me

im not sure but could i have blown them or was it install?

test those tweeters on a hi fi or head unit by itself if nothing happens then u blew it.

u probaly fried the cross-over or something..
excessive loud music could fk it up..lols

Sounds like u blew them.

Attach the tweeters to different channels to be sure the Amp is ok.

ok ill try yeh the splits have dodgy cross overs so if worse comes to worse its time for an upgrade when i can afford it lol

best way to test them is to just place a AA battery onto the terminal or leads off the tweeters. If no sound comes out of them then they are stuffed. if your amp is fine then it will be your crossover. If you know abit about electronics pull the crossover and test out the components inside it with a multimeter they are pretty simple to fix if the coil is not blown
