Installing 6.5" components in DC2?

Has anyone ever installed or knows if its possible to install 6.5" splits in the driver and passenger doors of the DC2 without customising anything, seeing as though its 6"? Looking at buying 6.5" as what i want doesn't come in 6".

6.5" splits are possible without any customization to the door trims.
The only "mod" required is a spacer so that the split sits up a bit more.

yeah 6.5" speakers can fit into the stock 6" speaker position.
as qball said u might need to make a custom 10 or 12mm MDF spacer so the speaker will fit.

unless ur speaker has a massive driver then u might need to trim off the back off the trim where the speaker faces into the car on the door trim, is is if u want to keep it "steathly" looking

try 6 1/4" speaker. You will find it will fit much better
