Rear wing help !

Ive got a DC2 pre facelift vtir integra. And i currently have the rear wing in the picture below. I want to change to a type r rear wing but i dont how if the dc2r rear wing will directly fit on top of the original holes? If it doesnt, what do i need to do to get it to fit ?

It should fit mate!

If not... drill holes in the boot. Any garage specialising in JDM cars will be able to fit it for you. If you need to drill holes, the base of the type R wing will cover the stock Vti-R holes. If you are anal and want a really good job, go see Peter at bodyform.

alright kewl.. im just worried about water leaking into the boot.. anyone else have previous experience with changing the vtir wing with a dc2r one?

yea it will fit perfect. ive done it to both my dc2's. but u will need to block the brake light hole.

btw that antenna is long as.. lol

it should fit straight on. just remember to put the adhesive.

It's quite spongy adhesive.... I've taken my off & on numerous times, No Problems. But it can't be a bad idea. I've got 2 wings the OEM one & this...

Wood,lol. Funniest but best idea i have seen. I like how ya painted them grey too,lol to make them look metal. But it looks like it seats a bit to high. But it just mite be the angle of the pic.

as most people have already stated... it will fit no problems into the existing holes. however in my situation i found an extra hole was drilled (have no reason why) but $0.50 plastic plug from bunnings and some silicon did the job.
