View Full Version : HELP needed on DA9 tail lights??

hey guys i need some tips on how to clear out the pink lines in my tail lights and also just want to clean them out coz theres 2 dead spiders in the right one. i can get them out but cant seem to take the black plastic backing off them to get to the actual clear part. any help please?

u dont take out the clear part, u pour bleach into it after u remove all bulbs and wireing, swish it around for a desired time and then remove and clean.
or
1. Take taillights off car
2. Remove bulbs and harness
3. Mix 1 part degreaser, 1 part WARM water (hottest tap can create)
4. Pour it into your taillights
5. Swish around for a few minutes
6. Repeat 3-5. again (after water has cooled down)

thanks heaps brotha. ill try it out tonite wen its cooler outside. i tried it yesterday n i was burning like eggs outside. im new to this so ill give u 10 rep points.

hey that bleach thing was a no go for me. didnt work, it just cleaned out the dust n dirt that was in the cracks...

you can use turps instead of degreaser but you have to be quick...i had one tiny part that wouldnt go white so i used turps and that worked, probably would advise to stick with degreaser though
