I've had my 07 V6 Accord for 6 months now. Very happy with everything except the traction off the line and the understeer. I figure larger wheels and better rubber would be the first step, with some suspension mods to follow.

Can anyone recommend some tyre/wheel combinations and a good suspension tuner on the north side of Sydney.

i think the rubber come with the car stock is okay (BridgeStone from my memory?).. yeah larger wheels will help you with traction but you may experience slower acceleration and higher fuel consumption...
What other vehicles did you compare with the accord that you conclude the traction is lack? Remember accord is still a FF car:D

They are Michelins.

My other cars have all been 6 and 8 cylinder rwd. The Accord V6 puts 177KW through the front wheels and struggles to do it without spinning even on a dry road off the line.

woah.. i wish I had that same 'problem' as you.. :) :)

i bring out the power - at 74.5kw at the wheels.

you'll need some nice tyres my friends. I got yoko S-drives on 7" wide rims, 225/45/17 and I can't spin or chirp the fronts anymore.

For your traction problem, you can either get better rubber (Contis, yokos, higher-spec bridgestones) or get stiffer rear suspension and higher rebound for the front so you get more anti-lift. To counter the understeer, get a thicker rear sway bar.

The springs/damper/sway bar will void suspension warranty. But the warranty for the rest of the car will still be valid. The only grey area is that any rattle can be blamed on the suspension.
