hey guys,
ive got a broke aircon unit and want to replace it with a new one in my 92 eg civic hatch.. my question is what part of the dash would i be needing to take off/unscrew/wedge out to have access to the air con unit wiring?

thanks,

so it'll just be like the head unit... just wedge the a/c unit out?

I haven't had mine (EK) out, but i'm pretty sure I saw some clips at the back of the unit itself.

You could take out your cd/radio unit and have at the back of the unit with a light and a mirror. I'd rather have a look than take a punt and most likely break something.

Then again I guess it doesn't matter if you break the old unit pulling it out, it's just the trims surrounding it.

Are you sure the one in there currently is actually broken? Have you checked all plugs and fuses etc first?

the actual bit on the ac unit where you slide from cold to hot is broken, and ive been given another ac unit.

Remove the middle, where the ashtray is to get UNDER it
