What RPM and speed do you guys change gears at
1-2
2-3
3-4
4-5
5-6

i think about 110kms on 6th sits at about 3krpm or 3500 about

Mines an Auto.Foot to the floor,rev limiter at 6,500rpm.1-2 60km,2-3 105km,3-4 140km,4-5 hits the speed limiter at 160km :)

if you read the manual its tells you the recommended gear changes in KM's. which turns out to be about 3000rpm.

1-2 ~ 3000 - 3200rpm
2-3 ~ 2750 rpm
3-4 ~ 2400 rpm
4-5 ~ 2100 rpm

1 > 2 @ 8000 Rpm 65km/ph
2 > 3 @ 7800 Rpm 102km/ph
3 > 4 @ 5000 Rpm 134km/ph
4 > 5 @ 3000 @ this point i've either run outta road or too scared i might get busted by the cops
5 > 6 @ 2500

if your changing from 2 - 3 at 7800rpm, wouldn't that mean your almost instanteously changing to 4th, if your changing at 5000rpm, if that even?
unless your driving style is kind of like 'rev - change gear - let revs drop down - rev'?
Beeza, I don't think this applies to you in the sense that i think he may be inquiring about gearchanges in an s2000, not automated sloppy gearchanges in an auto EK1.

Yeah i am after s2000's
i was reading the books and it said that
1-2 at 24kms
2-3 at 34kms
or something along those lines

normally change gear between 3000-4000rpm... i find that when i change early it not smooth.. but apparently that normal..
