looks very unique and old skool CRX with the window panel in the hatch,
roof wouldnt be too good in a hailstorm or a fruit bat hitting your car lol. also
looks like prototype pics they would never make and sell a car lookin like that
anyone would think theyre competing against lambo and ferrari. would be awesome if they did though,
open up a whole new gateway for manufacturers

Because after CRX is CRY. They couldn't go for that, so the next one is CRZ.

Look at the guys in USA. Just because of the NSX, they have to go and call the Integra the RSX, the Accord Euro the TSX and the Thai Honda Civic the CSX!

Oh yeah, CRZ could also sound like Cra-Zy

‘CR-Z’ stands for ‘Compact Renaissance Zero’—an expression intended to capture the idea of a renaissance in the design of compact cars that begins anew from fundamentals. This design research model of a lightweight hybrid sports car features advanced technologies that deliver enjoyable driving for all while reducing the vehicle’s environmental footprint.

so they are going to call it CRZ as a CRX replacement, makes me wonder what happened to the CRY in between...

I'm all in for hybrids, as long as the electric motors drive the rear wheels and the petrol motor drives the front (or vice versa).

THat looks interesting. I like it, except the profile/rear looks a bit too cutey prius/Yaris right now.

SPEEDCORE

I like the whole car except the excess glass on top.....

I'm thinking from a placement of weight high in the car / COG perspective BTW.

Other than that.... brilliant.

Whenever Honda Japan design something it looks decent. Pity the same can't be said about the Acura sports concept corvette thing UH!

i just realised that i don't like it because it looks like the Ford Lynx and the front reminds me of the sportivo concept a few years back... stupid euro car designs:

The electric part of the motor ought to give it useful extra shove grabbing unforeseen holes in city traffic, but would be dead weight at the track.

I love the look from any angle except straight in front. But I'm nervous about the transition from show car to production: a lot of the details that make the design click are unlikely to survive the bean counters.
