i was just wondering
wot are the big differences between the b16a and b16a in terms of engine components
i know that b16b has hand polished parts to minimise friction

but thats all i know

Different pistons.... PCTs giving 10.8:1
Different head.... not just cleaned up but different valve angles.

Not 100% sure but the block height is also different (anyone confirm)?? or the piston height of the PCTs.

I know there is pics on the net floating about showing PCTs in a B16A with the flat part of the piston, "technical term" there  sitting above the deck height..... seperate from the actual crown if that makes sense.

The problem this poses is that people have been thinking that PCTs in a B16A give the same 10.8 CR when in actual fact it is more like 11.4-11.6.

PLUS the Integra Type R JDM 4-1's are NOT stainless steel

nor are the 4-2-1 AUDM Integra Type R ones cast... only the JDM Integra Type R 4-2-1's

where did you get your info from???

it is OK dude, it is just a common mis-conception regarding these headers...

the JDM 4-1's are just mild steel,

the JDM 4-2-1's are cast two piece...

but both have a 2.5in collector...

the AUDM 4-2-1's are also mild steel,

with a smaller size collector...

BTW - it is a GOOD resource, i am just VERY pedantic when it comes to Honda, LOL!

if you want, i could go over all your resources for veracity?
