hey guys just wondering if any has any ideas on why my revs are fluctuating at times. the orange light in my cluster turns on and the car struggles. ive read in the manual that it is a problem with the engines omissions equipment or rather. dont know too much about it but when i turn the car off the light turns off and everything is back to normal. this does not happen too often so im not sure if its a simple fix problem or something i should brace my wallet for. ive taken it to hannys and just as my luck the problem was shy to show it self so i wasnt given a diagnosis. ive also cleaned my iavc thingo and yet the problem still occurs at 'times'. ive serviced the motor recently and i always use good fuel. if ther are and idea or thought please dont hesitate to contribute. thanks

The orange light means it has an ECU error code that can tell you what the problem is.

Or if its an ODB2 system, you can get ODB2 readers from eBay for like $30

Fluctuating Idle is usually caused by a blockage in the Air/Fuel system. The blockage slows the engine down, while the ECU tries to compensate by increasing the revs.

Common causes are:
Dirty Throttle Body
Blocked IACV / FITV
Blocked Fuel Injectors (use 98RON fuel a few times, it has cleaning agents)
Dirty Air or Fuel Filter
Old or dirty Spark Plugs / Leads

I would try a Throttle Body clean first

The best advice my mechanic has passed to me is simply "if it's not consistant there's nothing I can do" So, wait until it's doing it enough so they will see it happening.

i tried all that didn't help my problem
my fluctuating idle was due to a broken thermostat.
