so does that mean your break lights are LEDS? I'm talking like the Holden GTS Led Brake Lights.. i think a member did this to their euro?

Do you mean the bulbs themselves or the plastic housings?

If you simply want LED bulb replacements, you can get then off eBay and http://www.superbrightleds.com.

You need ones that shine light out the front AND sides due to the reflective nature of the euro's light housings. If they only shine out the front, they will be too dim.

And make sure you get the RED LED ones since the housing plastic is red. White LED bulbs give out very little Red light, and will look very dim.

7440 and 7443 can be found here
http://search.ebay.com.au/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=LED+7440&category0=
15-LED 7440 and 7443 at http://www.superbrightleds.com/tail-brake-turn.html

Suitable Wedge bulbs can be found here
WLED-x5 at http://www.superbrightleds.com/mini-wedge.html
eBay also sell some suitable multi-LED ones that have side LEDs.

The top center bulb is a 7440 (Single brightness)
The two outer bulbs are 7443 (Dual brightness)
The two inner bulbs are just your usual wedge 194 or 168 bulbs (same as the parkers)

Find bulbs that use the High Powered Luxeon LED's if you can, they are very bright. One Luxeon LED is about the brightness of maybe 8 normal LED's.

my centre mount brake light is LED... its a bar of 14 10mm high intensity red LEDs...

i think your talking about both the tail and brake lights on the rear bar and boot. yes i remeber a thread about that, you have to go custom, its not just a bulb swap over, it envolves alot of work, im currently doing it to my lights (i have a spare left tail light)

Ok guys, this is very very important! now that ive mastered the whole baking your lights in the oven thing, im looking into making custom tail lights (again!) lol

but cant decide what design to go for... i want them to look really agressive and scare people when they see my car at night lol

so please be honest, and tell me which design you like best :) cheers!

I'd definitely steer clear of options 1 and 4... might look a bit naff in the flesh. 3 might work, but I'd play it safe and go with 2. :)

lol option 2 is looking like the winner here! lol

i did some investigating with one of my spare tail lights... its nearly impossible to remove the lens cleanly (the plastic is physically melted to the reflector) :( so ill have to drill the LEDs in from the rear... using a drill press i can do it without slipping past and into the lens, but im worried about the plastic spalling falling into the housing and me not being able to get it out...

positioning is also going to need careful planning, obviously i wanna get them spaced evenly, but i have to avoid the plastic bracing and mounting points on the rear of the light aswell...

ill try make a prototype this week if i have time :P
