hi there,
i read about then on some US forums and they seem to be pretty good when you want to stop wheel hopping and engine movement upon hard acceleration.
just wanted to know if anyone in australia has had any experience with the motor mount inserts.
thanks guys

For the money. i think this is one of the first few mods you should get.
it will improve the shifting and reduce wheel hopping.
The vibrations are no where near as bad as what people say, unless ur a/c is ON ;)

Their a great cheap mod - when I took out my stock front engine mount I realised that it was cracked which was why my engine kept flexing heaps when under a lot of load.
I've got a used set if anybodies interested - $35pickup in Sydney.

Not too long ago I had to replace my clutch and the mechanic discovered the front mount was busted. The insert was the easy and cheap fix so I went ahead.
Because I've already had innovative mounts in place the vibration was so bad and unbearable I had order the OEM front mount!
Can someone please confirm what it be like if I were to had inserts on the rear and front mounts with the two side mounts being OEM. My mechanic said this would be ideal, it would be strong enough to stop flexing and still have the comfort for daily driving
Cheers

I've had them for about 2 years, they are OK. If you have a solid interior the vibration is fine, but if you've taken it out a few times then it'll rattle rattle rattle.
Definately no replacement for new eurethane mounts.

will these mount inserts help stop engine vibration when hitting vtec?

I'm considering upgrading my motor mounts to Energy Polyurethane Bushings. Will these affect the comfort significantly? I know some of the vibrations will be transferred to the cabin but how much actually gets through?
