Hi all,
got a problem with an ED3 Civic. We've replaced the alternator with a reco'd unit, but the battery light still stays on. Is there a regulator or fuse on the alternator that we've missed, or is there some other issue?

Thanks in advance...

when you get a reco'd unit, they don't really replace the regulator.
well depends on how much you pay for it as well, do you know if the regulator was replaced with a new/2nd hand working one?
if it wasn't replaced, i reckon the regulator is rooted.

Is the regulator on/in the body of the alternator, or somewhere else? Also, the fuse box cover has been lost, so we don't know what fuse goes where to check and replace (if necessary)... Don't want to have to pull all of them out one-by-one.

OK, no problems. We will have a look in the morning.

Thanks to both of you for your replies! :D
