EG Civic Tyre size

I'm currently looking at getting 215/35/18. My cars stock standard but i do wanna get it lowered once i get these rims/tyres.

Will it get my scrubbage? If yes, how can i not get the scrubbage with 18's or am i better off just getting 17's. Thanks guys

i've seen EGs with 18s and even 19s...if u don't want srubbage, then either don't lower it too much or get ur guards rolled...

just a reminder, when u get to much bigger rims, u'll get hit in fuel efficiency too...if u're after looks, then 17s and 18s are fine...if u're looking @ performance, then 15s and 16s would be the max i think...

Nah i aint lookin for performance. Car's more of a daily/cruiser. Anyone got a more definate answer?

Anyone know any places in brisbane, preferable southside to get guards rolled?

pm lyle (sexce 86 or something he's rolling 20's on his civic) i got 17s on mine, 2" drop on king springs, some scrubbing usually when there are 3+ ppl in the car so not too bad

When people say scrubbing... What do you mean by scrubbing? I say it and not really know what it means. I'm only assuming is when the body of the car is riding litterally ON the tyre.

i've got 225/35/18s on my car and it is low very low no probs, but i got my custom guards

no fibreglass f/r wider to fit bigger wheels

i had 17's on my eg and they scrubbed hard. tyres were 205's so i think it was the offset.

btw i inquired about getting my guards rolled with no luck. no one could guarantee that the paint wouldn't crack on the rear guards due to the spot welds. so i got some 15's and never looked back

You should get 205 man, it will scrub abit but 215 will definately scrub against ur gaurds
