Hey all, thought I'd intro myself since this forum might have to become my home due to my newly acquired car. :p

I'm Jason, an 18 year old uni student from adelaide, and as of last sunday I just picked up my first real car, a burgundy '95 CD5 Accord VTi. It's a 5 speed manual and I am absolutely in love with it.

Pictures ahoy!

I'm now the third owner and the previous owner was the wife of one of my fathers work colleagues, so it was a good find when you know where its been. Came with full service history and books, and has been run on premium unleaded its whole life. I'm getting new plates soon for it, cause being a females car the plates are pink and white, which I cant have. :p The new ones are going to be maroon with white lettering, so it should match up nicely.

The car has 127,000kms on the clock, and was just serviced before I got it. It's completely stock for the moment, but that will change in the coming months.

I'm really into my stereo gear, and have a set of DLS MS6A splits ready to go in the front doors and a DLS CA-23 amp to run them, out of my previous car. (Props to anyone who has actually heard of this brand, they aren't the most common around but are definitely up there with the likes of Focal, Rainbow, MB Quartz etc).

During the week I took out the stock 6x9s from the back and out of 9mm mdf replicated the mount that the stock speakers sit in but with holes for my DLS Classic 426 6" coaxials. It was an absolute breeze to put this gear in, and sounds reasonably good considering they are being driven by the standard deck. However, in the coming weeks I will have to get a new deck, to regain my iPod connectivity (the honda factory cd stacker is good, but iPods are better :p).

Future mods will probably include a CAI setup of some description, darker tints, some bigger rims and new springs/shockers.

Thats pretty much all for now, and cheers for reading. :)
