some help please

hey everyone just need some help in my s2k, got a bit of problems,
while the car is in no gear ive got a slight winding nosie but when i put the clutch in it goes away, also when i take of sometime and change gears i got a creaching noise in the back? not sure any help would be great thanks allot.

Its normal if you have an OEM clutch in earlier models(not 100% sure about the creaching noise, but the noise when out of gear is normal), You should do a search on s2ki.com, theres alot of good info there.

I can remember having that exact same problem in my CRX it was something to do with the Syncho's in the gearbox.

Other than that as mentioned above all the older S2k's 1999-2001 or 2002 have that dodgey clutch buzzing noise.

why dont you take it to a honda dealer and get someone to check it out.

i had replace to 06 clutch ,,got same noise as well .i think..it is OK!~just i think

Thanks For The Help. Anyone Know What That Creeking Noise Is Comming Out Of The Back? Also Sometimes My Car Lags Real Bad When I Got To Take Of Its Like Somoethings Blocked And It Just Jerps But Then If I Back Of And Try Again Its Ok? Not Shure Whats Wrong There? Thanks Again

When was the last time you had the car serviced?
Might want to try map whack or your spark plugs needs replacing.

its got 20inch wheels and im lowering it on sat 3inch back 2inch front,
how come?

you may be putting load on it when you accelerate.

see with bigger wheels the angling of your rear wheels is lifted up and that may cause some discomfort for the S as standard they have 16's or 17's.

i had the same issue with mine when i had the 20's and i changed them to 18's.

check the rear balljoints for wear and tear.

also blame the lag on the 20's each wheels weighs what 20-30 kgs each, multiply that by 4 and thats the weight you put on your car.

standard wheels are enkei and they (referring to AP1 wheels) are quite light as opposed to the 20's.

Yeh I Knew 20s Were Gonna Be Allot Of Lag But Really Dont Mind As I Like The Sex Style So What Problems Did U Have? Did U Get That Crreking Noise In The Back?

i think i have the creaking noise in the back as well.
I'm still trying to sort out the problem.

that wining sound may be the bearing on you flywheel...

Umm Nah Winning sounds comming from the gearbox its like a crrrrrr but when i press the clutch in it goes away as soon as i leave it in no gear comes back, its the creecking noise evertime i take of comeing from the back.
gonna take my car back to the dealer but just wanted the head first on the problem so they cant stuff me around, last time they had it for 2days and they said they changed the bearing in the gearbox but i think they just chaged the oil.?
