Hi guys,
Quick question- I was trolling through some 2nd hand euros on Carsales and discovered an anomaly. Was wondering why some of the 7th Gen MY2006 has the white/red illuminated panels whilst some others are blue. Or did the seller put in the incorrect model? Appreciate any assistance.

Well the difference is that the red/white one has no tacho (and auto box)... but the blue one does (manual as well).. could that be it? Perhaps the auto had the white/red and the manual had the blue/white panels?

red = sports edition only. supposed to give that euroR look. with the whole bodykit, black moulding, the grill and wheels.

That top picture looks like a 05 model not a 06 model... cos 05 and lower are all white/orange dash...

Nah.. look closer, it's not there... on the left there's the gear indicator thing... but no tacho... common for autos. It looks completely different layout

OK... maybe there is one... meh.. anywho thats not why the colour is diff.

Im pretty sure its because of what r-r-redEuro already mentioned, MY06-07 standard & Luxury have the blue

Sport has the red

and that one definately has a tacho, why else is the 8 there? :p
Its also definately an MY06 as its got the Silver Trim not the older blue/woodgrain trims

top picture is definately 06-07 model! trip computer (controls on steering wheel) and clear/red hazard light button are massive give aways there! it looks like its the limited edition sports... easy way to tell, jump outside, have alook at the driving lights, if there is two colour matched fins running horizontal accross the vent next to them then its a sports edition...

r-r-redEuro and pumped are both correct - they both own euros... maybe thats why they know what theyre talking about?

Not a sport because it has leather and doen't have the metal pedals. I wonder if the owner did an instrument cluster transplant.

it looks like the seat has the leather trim on the outside... which is all the sport has (not full leather like the luxury)... and im not sure about the pedals...

I meant the leather part at the door. Did the sport come with leather or fabric at the door?

Here is another Sport without metal pedals:

it came with that leather/vinyl stuff... which is what it looks like in the pic? it looks the same as the leather/vinyl in my lux anyway...

maybe the sport didnt have pedals stock? that would explain why honda still only do automatic sports pedals as an option for the euro

Ahh I see. My bad, I thought the Sport had fabric on the doors as well.

I want the blue lights. But my 05 standard sadly is lightless. My 07 CRV lux has the nice blue lights. Im like a fish. I like pretty lights.

Wondering about modding my 05 to do this...hmm

but then the std euro have the better acceleration due to lack of heat heaters, and other stuffs that make the lux more heavier.

So it's safe to assume all standard and luxury MY06 models and above are equipped with the blue dash?

03 - 05: orange looking dash
06 - 07 sport : red
06 - 07 : blue
and from the new facelift the style of the dash is alittle different. i compared it with EUROOR's one.

first picture = 06 EURO SPORT

how? Well, apart from the obvious (steering wheel is an 06 product), the speedometer is slighty diferent to the 03-05 models. on the 03-05 model, on the arc of the speedometer, there are white and red lines. but there is only WHITE lines for every 20km increment. i.e 0, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100kms etc. For those kms in between (i.e the ones that dont have the numbers 30,50,70,90kms) it is a RED line. On this example however, it has white lines for each 10km increment. Also, the fuel and oil gauges on the dash are shaped differently than the 03-05 models. so since the 06 model was revised to have a blue dash, for it to look similar but wth red LED's and for it also to have the 06 steering wheel on it, it can only mean that its a euro sport

Also you can tell its a sports model because the euro sport had no shiny chrome bits, interior or exterior. (the exterior had brushed chrome door handles compared to the normal chrome. and also, the chrome mouldings on the outine of the doors are black). the inside, the handles are brushed chrome as well and u can see it in the picture.

Second picture = 06/07 Euro Luxury.
giveaways? seatwarmers, sunroof button, leather seats, and to my knowledge the 06/07 euro luxury is the only one to have the GPS option. dont think the standards have this option of getting a GPS or not.
