hi everyone,

I am new to everything!! This is my first forum I have ever joined on the web.
Anyway, I have been searching body kit for jazz and I found one that is called "Fibre Glass Mugen Type Body Kit" on a Malaysia Company Web-site. I just wonder is there any other body kit for jazz? And is there any company selling body kits for jazz in Australia (because I dont want to order the parts from Malaysia)?

G'day!!!

personally i dont like fibreglass kits, they crack over a period of time, it has no elastic properties, so a minor bump would most likely caused damage & depending on the worksmanship, usually 'looks good from far' but up close, straight is never straight, flat is never flat... but then again its significantly cheaper than polyurathane. :)

Thanks you for telling me the bad things about fibreglass and other type of material used for body kit!!!
I have learned a new thing today!
By the way, ohter than polyurathane, is there any other type of material used for making body kits? Is polyurathane the best material?

Thank you very much!!!

i thought u were gonna make a plastic copy of it?
I know about the imported genuine mugen one, costs way too much.

its the gf's car, and she likes the mugen kit, but obviously at the end of the day it depends on how much it costs.

 So u mean you can get an imported genuine mugen kit that is made of either plasitc or fiberglass? Can you give the a rough idea on the cost of getting the kit (both plastic and fiberglass)?
By the way, what is the difference between using plastic and fiberglass to make a kit? Lastly, what is JDM kit? Another brand of genuine body kit for Honda vehicles, like Mugen?

Thanks!!! :D

I went into that Malayisa website that Jazz_Believe talk about it before, actually the price is quite cheap, only US$ 290 (around AU$370), and the kit itself is around 10KG, if they post it by ship, i guesst it cost around AU$50. Plus the installation and colouring fee is around AU$400. So totally it cost your around AU$820 only!

Don't looking down Malaysia things, they are cheap and nice, and they can sell it in very cheap price because their living fee is much lower in Australia and Hong Kong. If u have been to Malayisa, u will know that a fishball noddle cost RM$1 only, around AU$0.35!

If u order that body kit form that shop form Malayia, it can save u at least AU$500 :!: But u need to take a risk that it may demage during shipping!
Actually, i am thinking to buy that kit form that Malayian shop :D Next time when i go back to HK, i must stop over there and search around. Ha Ha!

that's the Alpine demo car so it has no purpose other than to show off its gears. so if they don't fill the boot out with subs & amps then i'll be disappointed.

i like the front splits mounted high on the glass.

that is NOT my car. i confess that i "stole" it off some japanese site. it's a popular mod with Japan Fit/Jazz owner. many of them get those painted bcos when Fit was released in Japan, they only had the 1.3 & the headlights were black on them. many of them got them spray painted to colours.
