i need a spacer or something for my new gear knob, the thread hole is larger than the gearstick. is there anything that i can use to close the gap??

the white bit is too big, need something to fill it.

usually they come with another insert.

i've used hard plastic hosing before in order to make a new thread.

you might be able to get the universal inserts for this.

if your handy with tools ,what i do is fill the hole with 5 minute araldite and then redrill and tap the hole with the same thread as your stick has

Just get an original honda knob and cut it apart and take the threaded insert and glue it into the new knob.
Ive done this a few times,works great.

It usually comes with the insert. Unless you bought an auto gearknob.

bought it off a friend, who has a corolla, hence why it doesnt have any spacers or anything liek that.

might just glue it to the stick with some silicone or epoxy or something

i dont think that will hold very well...
try the universal inserts
