View Full Version : Removing the white wax on the black on car ?

When u wax your car it says to not get it onto rubber or i found black surfaces, is there anyway to get the white out of these places ?

Use the cloth that you use to buff wax out to wipe off the wax on the black parts as well.

try using a pencil eraser, normally works for me when accidently get products on my black trim

Just tryed that, didn't work, the white wax has been there for a while so it stained it a bit.

Nope, didn't work either :(
Its on the black strip around the rear side coup windows, you know the smaller windows.

how old is the wax? you wouldnt happen to have some quick detailer handy do you?

Use a soft cloth and some exterior trim detailer and wipe it. Otherwise, an old used toothbrush with trim detailer might work too.

Remember to work it in so that you are softening and removing the old wax, not just hiding it with the trim detailer.
