just a quick question, i wanted to remove the grills on my ej8 where the badge is just so it looks abit better? any1 had any experience doing it themselves or something? ive had a look at it myself and theres these plastic screws on top, i took them off and i pulled at it but it seems to be stuck to my front bumper? insight would be great :)

You have to undo the screws in the wheel-arches. There is one either side, then 2 bolts under the front bumper, holding it on.

You then have to take your front bumper off, as there is 4 screws and 2 clips holding the grill onto the bumper.

Then you can put back together and enjoy....

Mate look carefully.. It shows it all in the images from Dy_ Link

TAKING OFF THE BUMPER - - > EJ8/EK/EK4.. blah blah blah

Take off ;

7 screws underneath the bonnet..

1 screw on each side, its right next to the wheel..

2 screws underneath the bumper..

slowly pull off the bumper..

once you've done that process, time to remove the grill..

4 clips behind the bumper, right were the grill is & you'll see it..

GL have fun with it.. cheers

done! great DIY thread! yeah all the instructions are there? its really easy to do actually! the plastic thread the screws go into as broken so i could only manage to use 3 screws compared to the 6 or so that are normally meant to be used! still looks ok, the mesh sticks out abit at the top and bottom but im not a fussy guy! ill cut another one out when im bothered!
