Brake upgrade?

Just wondering is there much difference between Vti-r prelude brakes and vti... and type R integra brakes...
im doing a conversion on my civ i have already got a set of vti-r Prelude fronts..( not installed). from my half cut....
just getting a few opinions on which way i should lean towards...

i will be having a huge increase of hp and a bit more weight as im doing a fully built h22 coversion...

i had a set of prelude vtir brake to put on my accord but they are not an easy swap, it was going to ber so difficult that i didnt bother with it.


Not sure if the prelude brakes fit on the civ.

civic and itegra's 4x100
type r's r 5 stud
preludes 4x114 for th early 1's
5 stud for the later 1's
but hte prelude 1's r def bigger than the stock Vti 1's

How much $$$ and how hard to do like a DC2R conversion with an EK? Cos I've been thinking about it for a while... And yes I want DC2R rims.

well i know of friends have done DC2R brakes conversion on an EK, are you planning to do it urself or getting like a manchanic to do it? price depends on where you get the parts from? wreckers from $1000-$1500 which you have to get whole brake system(e.g habs,rotors etc) and you have to upgrade ur brake master cylinder as well.

And trust me DC2R rims look hot on Ek's gives EK a JDM look. =)

yeah i'm not really worried if its an easy or hard conversion, if they are better brakes then it will be worth the effort making them fit... yes i know they are diff stud pattern but that just means diff wheels...thats an easy fix!
while im spending money on it i may as well go the best i can get....

what size rims have u got? thier are plenty of 'big brake' kits avaible from america for the EG's. will give u way more stopping power then anything else - 4pot capilers :))

Yeah "skoota" its a bit of $$$ but its wealth it trust me? i wouldnt go for anything else =)
