Like all odometers

1 number = 100 meters

So as it moves , 1(00) 2(00) 3(00) meters.
When it reaches 10 it clicks over again.

that one moves every k, so every time it clicks over you've done a km, so there should be six of them xxxxxx

can't you just rip it appart and swap them around so you got 000 176 (illegal btw kiddies so don't risk 7 years jail, not that i know :p)

I don't see why not man, depends what year the car is i suppose but it's hard to find a civic in aus with reasonable k's, there are some out there but very hard to find. What cut did you get and how much if you don't mind me asking

Just a note, all JDM EG9's had black interior (dash, door trims, plastic mouldings)

I brought a Prelude conversion over here for around the same money (in NZD) and it had done 160,000.

Sounds like a cool project tho. Good luck.

If the price and condition is right man anything is possible, keep in touch.
On another note: you do know eg's have hydraulics gearboxes and as far as i know ed/ef is cable (some one confirm????) I'm not sure how familiar you are with converting from one to another. I haven't done a civic but i have done a engine swap in a mitsu van and had to convert from cable to hydraulic g'box. Wasn't all that hard, we just swapped the whole setup from the BMC+booster to the pedals (was easier that way). Once again i haven't done one in civics or any honda so i can't say 100% it's gonna be easy/hard/possible at all. But good luck with the conversion mate, and let us know how you go.

cheers boban, from doin my re-search the hydraulic to cable is a bit of a pain in the arse but im gonna give it a crack, unless i can find someone who is willing to swap a hydraulic box for a cable one, i know the b18a cable box bolts to a b16a, there out of a da9 89-93 integra, anyone know were i can get one? Or even better anyone got one??
