Hey guys, i'm planning on getting a set of BC N+ coilovers and i've read that the Tein Flex ones are illegal. Does that mean that the N+ would be illegal to have too since they are both similar?
Cheers

Tein Flex are not illegal because they are stiff. They are illegal because they are not sold by the local Tein distributor and hence does not have ADR approval. If the distributor for BC submitted the N+ for ADR testing and it has certification, then it would be legal.

Yeah some of the threads that i read were talking about the lower adjustable mount and since the N+ has the same thing, just wanna make sure they're road legal before i get them

most modifications to your car are not road legal, hence the reason why you will get defected
ADR's are a completely different issue on there own

Did you call BC Aus? I would only trust BC Aus in telling me whether their product is ADR approved or not.

I spoke to the guys at On The Run Motorsport who are a buddy club dealer and they seem to reckon it should be fine, but i think i will call up BC Aus just to make sure
