Could be betting a JDM ITR cat (i believe thats a 2.5" collector which is the same as the mugen cat back?) Anyways, will this combo fit onto my stock header for the time being?

Any input would be much appreciated

Thanx in advance.

Cheers.

I don't think so, different length cat or something. I'll wait for someone else to confirm this please.

anything can be made to fit if you bring it down to the exhaust guys and some $$$

yup, i know that anything can be made to fit although this is only temp as I will get a header soon. so instead of leaving it to sit in my garage i was just wondering if it was possible to at least have the catback on my car without any modifications made to the header/cat.

no it will not bolt on to your stock header. collector size and lenght of the cat are different.

just get a cheap set of any oem jdm dc2r headers or aftermarket ones
they all have the 2.5 " collector so it will fit

hey mate i think jdm itr cat is smaller then the original aus spec ones if you want to make it fit i think you will need to take it to your local exhaust place and get a flex pipe fitted from the original header to the cat , they flex pipe alows it to move as it is an east west engine, so when you rev the engine it alowys the exhaust to move and flex (thats why it is called a flex pipe).
the flex pipe will prob cost your around $150 and to be fitted prob around $50 as they neeed to weld and cut flanges and crap so shold cost about $200 all up (abit dear i no )
but thats what i needed to do to make one fit on my car , the fleex pipe looks sxy to0000
hope this helps

Yeap like others have said, it CAN be made to fit the stock header, but for the price, you can save up a little bit more and wait for a second hand xforce or JDM 4-1 to prop up. Bang for your buck mods that will increase HP
