BLACK EM1 & Air conditioning

Does anyone find the air cond for this particular car cr@p or not particularly great?
I've had my car for 4.5 yrs now, and all this time I've always thought that this was normal for the civic.
I recently had it looked at and the guy says my thermostat is stuffed.
I mean, it's cool but i'll still be uncomfortable on a 30+ day
anyone with a Black EM1 in the same situation?

I dont think colour would make to much of a differance but my ej8 is fine. I just bumb it up if i get a lil warm but i havnt owned the car through a typical QLD summer yet.

i got a ek4 my air con always goes cold then hot and cold and keeps goin like even after i got it regas, it was cold for the 1st couple of days when i got it regas but after that just stuffed up again! does any one kno y?

i got honda to look at my aircon, system. i had similar issues as people have been saying

cost 120 for them to inspect and clean\regas the whole system after that its been cold... cold cold :)

is it when you stop start?
because if you dont have ur AC fan working it could cause it to go hot cold as you stop start in traffic

i think it cost me all up around 700 with a re-gas on the new compressor..
it is now alot colder than before because it was a reconditioned compressor

yeah and every time i step on the accelerate i can hear this clicking noise seem like its turning off and on the air con, thats when is goes hot and cold. :confused:

idle solenoid cutting the AC out when you get on the gas?

I know Toyotas had this, not sure about Hondas.
