hi guys im after 2 pairs of speakers for my integra and i just wanted to know whats the difference between component and coxial? which is better and why? also for my 03 integra type-r is there any like factory placement for the tweeters? i had a 05 subaru impreza before the integra and there was this area on the door trim for the tweeters to sit in just wanted to know whether the integra has something like that.
i was looking at the mb quartz DSG216, mb quartz ESA-216 and the alpine SPR-17S which one do you guys think is the best out of the three?

cheers

for ur application, it should be compenents in the front and coaxial in the rear.
splits are normally used in the front becase it allow for a more realisic sound image to be created while coaxials are normally placed in the rear just to act as rear fill sound.
if you want for a decent sound setup u rather off get the best set of splits that your budget does allow and then just spend about ~150 on ur rear speakers

i have focal splits in my car and im just running my stock speakers in the rear and the sound image is very good.

as for ur tweeter question u might need to find a place for them, eg the triange on the mirror coz it isnt like the subaru where it has a custom place for the tweeter itself.
