driving from horsley park to castle hill yesterday nite (45mins), the temp gauge on my car was hardly up. usually on a cold morning the gauge is at the C and raises to half way with in about 25mins. yesterday is was sitting at about 20% up.
does it sound a bit wierd? how do i test to see if my temp guage is workign right?

Cheers'

u can leave ur car on, but dont drive it..
just leave ur car idle and rev it a bit ...
once the fan starts, it should be exactly 90degrees..
when the fan stops that means its around 70 degrees..
well.. i dont know what i'm talking about lol..

Anyways i have a mechanical temp guage now cos i cant seem to trust the stock one

Sometimes, it could be due to a faulty thermostat...:)

any good mechanic can change it. just get a genuine one. they might cost more, but there worth it. they last for a very very very very long time compared to others and they tend to seize in the open postion ( which is a good thing, wont cook your engine.) use honda coolant as well.
