2 1/4 inch exhaust pipe

would a 2 1/4 in bpipe be too big for a stock ek1 sedan exhaust system? its stock except for an axelback. to me, the twinloop sounds a little farty/raspy....i want it a little it to have a little more bassy tone. will the bpipe help? i dont want to change the performance, if there are gains then great. but i dont want any performance loss by changing the piping. is there anything else besides chaning the header and cat that will make a deeper sound?

Cannons on the end give the bassy sound your after.

I dont think it will lose you power from stock, but may reduce your gains from your upgrade.

Theres a thread somewhere about the cannons i think, or with info on the cannons somewhere.
