Can someone please confirm whether or not removing the rear "civic" and "vti" badges will leave holes, or are they just stuck on?

Thanks

Not sure if its been posted but i'll let u know how to do it properly because alot of the time people get too impatient and end up scratching their paint job which will look shithouse in the sun.

step 1: Gather all required materials :

- Scratch X (recommended)
- Terry towel
- Microfibre cloth
- Fishing line/strong tooth floss
- Hairdryer (2 if you have - will halve the time to take off)
- Degreaser

Step 2: Use hairdryer/s on one badge and make sure it is hot enough so that when u try to move the badge with your fingers it will move easily. The key is that the hotter the glue is the easier it is to remove.

Step 3: When the glue is hot enough, use the floss to run it behind. It shouldnt take too much effort, if it does its an indication that you havent heated the glue enough.

Step 4: Peel off the badge and spray on degreaser and rub off with terry towel. This step is the most important step because if you don't have the patience you will scratch your paint. You need to apply a fair amount of degreaser while rubbing the glue off. AVOID picking the glue off with your fingernails at all costs. Take the time, it will eventually rub off.

Step 5: After all the glue residue is off, its time to polish the area. Put on some scratchX either on ur finger or on a cloth and rub it into the area. The trick the scratchX is that you need to rub hard into it to get good results. Buff off the scratchx with the microfibre and your done :)

Step 6: Repeat steps 1-5 on the rest of the badges.

Hope this guide helps ppl with their debadging

Thanks for the info. I will look into getting the Scratch X stuff.

Don't mind my stupidity/n00bness but what's a Terry Towel?

If you're goin to supercheap to get the scratchX just look around there for cleaning equipment and there'll be a range of cloths etc and you'll find it. They're usually white (kenco) ones.
