View Full Version : integra's with quick 1/4 mile times
hey guys
just out of curiosity, what type of motors do all the *quick* integras(dc2's)/civics run?
there's some people from another forum that think that they use a crv block (mentioned bel garage buildup)? i was under the influence that they'd be k20/k24's (they are definately NA running 13's down the quarter)

define "quick"
it is possible to run 13s with b18c and mods.
the b20 engine set up is showing alot of potential and is a better base to mod than the b18c
and the k20 or even better k20/24 is a beast of an engine and with mods can get u into high 12s
it really depends alot on the driver and the suspension set up

stock k20 in a light shell with good sussy and tyres can do low 12's. Possibly even 11s.

hence i wrote "i think"
i just thought that only d same series fit each other - ill remember it now
my friends dc2r runs 13.19 with jdm b18c and lots of mods.. his username is dc2sparks
Jason (blackdc2) from this forums ran 12.9 with his Allmotor b18c DC2R
Badhbt Dc2 with stock jdm k20a ran 12.7
so what type of engine has a crv got? and how would you exactly get performance out of a "baby suv" engine?
in other words, are these guys full of shit?

crv weighs way more than a crx or civic so performace would increase once put in a lighter car.
