Hi all,

I am looking for around 5-10 beta testers to test out an upgrade we will be making to the Ozhonda site.

Please reply here if interested as I will be looking for people who are regular posters (in order to get good feedback).

Thanks

We also need a couple of beta testers that are not computer wizzes, or internet junkies that post on multiple forums like ozhonda, in order to get accurate feedback.

For the gallery or the site?

Its all just going to be VBulletin powered with a gallery. We will be loosing the current gallery and images so everyone will have to backup their pictures if they want them. I will send an email out.

Hi all,

The beta testing was really to do with the gallery section of the site, but that I won't be setting up for a few more days so hold on Beta testers!

I will be upgrading the site on the weekend :)

hm..not bad...
i like the limit 2mb?
is that more than b4 right?

wynode

Just in case anyone is wondering, no more Beta testers are required.

Danny, the previous limit was based on the number of photos. The new limit is basically 2MB (so assuming ~250KB files, thats around 6-8 images)

how/wat about linking from a site?

is that possible?

so...basically...u add a photo to your gallery...then you move it to the desired err..gallery?

Cos I'm uploading pics from the Pre-Spring cruise now...and wanna add it to the Events Gallery..

So, after u/l, I start a new title?

n00b alert!!! :p

Ok, so if there isn't already an album setup for a meet, just PM a mod/admin and we can make a new album for you to upload the pics to. :)

Just supply meet location, title and date.

EG: [SYD] Palm beach cruise 19/08/04

Once the album is there, you can upload to it!

ahhh...ok...

Well then..can u add an album...like NOW! :p

[MELB]Pre-Spring Cruise - 15/08/04

or are we still testing to not bother with it?

Gonna try linking it now :)

EDIT: hmm...okay..so i cant seem to link my images..weird!

the linking still doesnt work Win.

and I can see "Admin" option...in the same title bar as "My Gallery,My Favourites", but on the right of that bar. Should I be seeing it? I clicked on it anyways..and it brought me to a site where I can see the logs, etc. :) So...just checking.

Yeah I know, I haven't attempted to fix it yet :)

What else can you see? Can you see permission, usergroups etc? I think that link is there because you're part of the Moderators group :)

i got this too.

So, besides that...all runs smoothly.

Not too difficult for newbies to upload/view photos. Pretty user-friendly, which I assume you're hoping for right?

All, if not most of the links seem to work fine.

Anything else, in particular, you would like us to test Win?
