Removing Glass Mirror From EK Mirror Housing

Hi all,

I want to remove the glass out of my side mirror housings but dont want to smash the glass, is there any way to remove the glass from the housing without smashing it?

yea just pull it gently.. its locked with a clip from the inside.. push 1 side and pull the other side out.

so just push left side in and pull out from right side?

Get a flat head screw driver (with a bit of cloth around it so you dont damage the housing paint etc) and just pry it in behind the mirror from one side. The mirror should just pop right out.

does the same go for the DC2R mirror or can you open the asssembly & remove the mirror another way?
