i was jus wondering, a larger exhaust will enhance ur performance because more exhaust gas can be quickly rid of. would that method apply to IC piping. if the IC piping were lets say 3inch big from the turbo to the IM, will that in anyway increase the performance? or is it the size of ur intake manifold (throttle body) that matters more

The bigger the piping, the more air is needed to fill it up which means more time more lag.

what you loose you will gain somehwere else generally... will be more laggy but produce more at high end.... that is if your turbo and engine will take it

Not really the amount of boost is dependent on the turbo & engine, how much air it can push out not create more power from the intercooler piping. It will lag more as it will take more time to fill up.
