How much difference between a B16A and a D16A8??

Hey guys, how much difference is there between these two engines besides the obvious (vtec). What parts from a B16 can be used on a D16 (extractors?)

Yes both engines combined in the one civic will make it go like a rocket!!!
Then any nut in the car will be a nut from a rocket..

nothing from a B16 can be used on a D16a8 and vice versa.
Probably only external parts like pipes or intake or thermostat.

One is B series the other is D series duh ?

I can understand him asking that. 3 years ago I asked: "Can I fit a B16A head on to a D16Y1 head???". 3 years later I'm building my own H22A ready for a swap in to the EG3 haha.
