ok, since there wasnt one of these, i decided to make one of these and explain how to take off the front bar for your dc2/4, screws and bolts may vary depending on your car. For instance, i was missing some since im the 3rd owner of my car. Reason I took off my front bar was to fix up how the air filter was sitting, an also polish my headlights.

Aim:To take off the DC2/4 front bar

Required:

10mm nut remover tool
Phillips head screw driver
Muscles
Good memory for where all the screws and nuts went

Steps:
1.There should be 2 10mm nuts in the centre and 2 screws on the outer under the car as shwon in this picture. they are there to hold the plastics to the front bar.

Next image is to show you where the screws sit, after i took off the bar. It's abit tricky to find. and reach if ur car is lowered.
Circle means there.
Square means Im gonna zoom in.

2.Remove the indicator and parker light set and disconnect it and store it at a safe place.

3.Ok, now this next one, on my car there was 2 screws colored in blue, And there is definitely one colored in yellow. In order to reach that you have to pull the fender trim to the side and get a small phillips head screw driver and get it out.

4.This image, isnt clear or big. But theres 2 nut screws on either side of the car. and alot of phillip head screws on that black strip. You need to remove the black strip completely, then you know the front bar is ready to come off.

5.Now the bar is starting to come off, you need a little bit of force to pop it out of where these clips sit, circled in yellow. then its just a matter of holding it where the lights sit and fiddling with it abit till it comes out.

6.Oh, look theres my air filter. Any body know what goes where the purple marked items are? I think my car has a crash history now... :(

7.Right, now my front bar is off.(Holy crap a 911 GT3 just drove past my house! well it think it is. it said gt3 on the side.)

8.To put everything back on, just re-trace yoru steps. This is where you need a good memory, to remember where the heck all the screws went..
I was left with one screw remaining. lol

As you can see, its pretty straight forward. Just that some screws/nuts are abit hard to find and take out and put back in. Try not to get metal cuts while ur at it.

Hope this helps all you DIY-ers out there.

nar bought the car with a short ram.
then i made the cold air intake.
but when i bought the car and extended the intake it was missing the resonator anyways..
