What happens if u go to big? Eg 3" ? Will it just sound like... hollow? and not as good?

have a look on utube for the different exhaust sounds.. sometimes they post up their "new" exhausts clips and them sitting there revving it to like 4000rpm... zzz LOL they never go hard... they are too precious of their new system.. but i guess u get the basic idea of what they sound like..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tTN34B4MkU <-- Buddy Club Spec IV catback running off a b16a :)

etc etc.. u can find them yourself :)

can get chased by the cops for excessive noise;) not too sure about power though, but i'd imagine it'd be the same...

depends on what you want, do you want power, sound, looks and how much you are willing to spend. the bigger the exhaust (2.5'' and up) the louder it will be. you cant go wrong with any of the jap brands as they have been tried and proven.

some recomendations.

quiet - mugen twin loop
power - buddy club spec 3 (but is f**ken loud)
balance between power and sound - fujitsubo powergetter
looks - they all pretty much look good but that all depend on you

it all depends on you and how much you want to spend. hope this helps you out

^^ well whenever ive heard cars run catback systems without the resonators, they tend to drone quite a fair bit. with the resonators in, its more of a clean sound. considering most cars are daily driven, it'd be worth while to invest in getting at least one of these.
