Hey Guys
Just trying to install my FMIC and the pipping is close to touching my down pip...
How hot can grade lightweight aluminum get before its starts to melt?

take a picture, how close is 'close'. if ur scare i gues u can always hitup autobarn and get some heat wrapp for the down pipe =) would only cost u about 10bux

my engine bay is pretty squished too everything is close
and im havin no problems with it :D

lol yeah that's what I did
heat wrapped the sucker though my mate tels me there's to much air passing by of anything to happen even if its touching :thumbsup:

No camera but as you've said there's lots'a stuff in there up close without any problems

I was about to say, use that heat wrap u got spare, told u it would come in handy;)

I'm getting new hose clams this week as the bunnings one suck!!!
T-bone should give me better seals...
How can I tell if there are leaks?

T-BOLT clamps.
Check ur vac lines, i dun think a leak in ut pipiing would affect ur idle, our cars dont have an AFM

I have not touched the vac lines since you installed the kit man but I'll check anyway..
She stalled in the middle of traffic yesterday and would not start for about 30secs

All seems fine now..
the vac line from the rocker cover was loss

Was not looking forward to looking for a leak at all...
Though I'm still going to redo all my clams with T-bolts, the bunning's one suck..

you should hear a hisssing noise if there was a leak in the vac.
