what engine bay loom are you running ? that sounds to be a OBD1 loom where the O2 sensor sits off one of the exhaust manifold primaries. (any 92-95 civic for example) and is probably 2 wire
the integra ones are generally 4 wire jobs which do hang down near the oil filter

im pteyyu sure its a obd2 loom, coz of my dizzy, one big plug, and the o2 sensor plug is one white wire

no on obd2 loom its a 4 wire plug

the location of your o2 sensor wire tells us your engine bay loom is OBD1 or even OBD0. The single wire o2 sensor was used on 1992 civics like the Si or breeze etc.

isnt one big plug on the dizzy, instead of two smaller plugs, OBD2, can some one confirm. Well thats how my dizzy is.
The o2 sensor plug is the one white wire, which is located under the dizzy, same as the actual o2 sensor, which also has the single white wire,

So does that mean there is a mixture of both obd1 and obd2 in the looms?

Im very confused now

we all are.

BUT fyi all OBD2 o2 sensors are 4 wire and hang at the back of the engine , NOT the front under the dizzy like yours.
Can you please take a photo of this area of the engine bay for us ?

lmao, all you guys a lost. Biggest issues is everyone is talking about different cars. EK's and EG are completely different when it comes the wiring.

If the car in your profile is correct.

I'm assuming you have a EJ8 orginally a Vti Coupe. Someone has put in the B16 using the orginal sohc vtec loom.

Hence you have an obd2a EK loom, with the single plug dizzy and single white wire o2 sensor at the FRONT, which sounds like exactly what you've already discovered. This setup would throw a o2 heater signal code if you were still using a stock B-series ecu.

Thanks for the info man, very helpful. Not too sure about what ECU its got, anyway to find out?
