nah. mine doesnt anymore either. i read from your old post how to find out the problem. but dont know how to fix so havent bothered to do anything about it.

Yes,mine does.When the light comes on I can easily (normal) drive for an hour.

dude did you check the sender unit as stated in the other thread linked above that you created in regards to this problem?

I am certain they do have fuel reminders, bu why so many eks doesnt work and a EG that is older that works perfectly.

Does anyone have any idea how to remove the fuel sender out from the tank?

Yeh EK4 works fine, its the Ek1 thats the problem

I don't know whether my one (EK1 1997) work or not. I alway refilled when the tank still have more than 6 litters left. In the manual quote fuel light only on when less than 6 litters
