View Full Version : How many km's travelled on your Euro

Hi

I have just hit the 50,000 kilometres on my 2003 Euro and I am in two minds whether to sell it or hold onto it for another 50,000 kilometres.

I was wondering how many kilometres members have travelled in your Euros so far? And if you still like your Euro? Or would you sell it and buy what? (depending on finances I guess will determine the answer)

I still like my Euro as it's a great car and has heaps of features so I'm finding it hard pressed to find a car that has value for money as the Euro.

Sorry to off-topic a bit. i have yet to receive my brand new euro. But i was wondering if it still holds it's novelty value for you. For those whom have had their euro for few months/years; Do you still get that tingly feeling you initially felt when you first jumped into the car at the dealers?

I just clicked over 49000 and mine's a late 05 model. I'll be keeping mine till at least 100000, if not longer as it will become the wife's car and I'll get something more economical and trade hers (V6 Magna).

I just hit 76,000 today. I'm still wrapped with it, however I bought it with 60,000k on it so i've only really done 16k.

I will probably keep it untill 100k if not more.

Thats certainly good news then. A lot of people tell me the novelty wears off after a few months or so; though i assume that's largely dependent on the owners personality.

I've done 77,000 in about 1.5 years :) Thats a lot of driving!

I still enjoy driving my car, and i do still get "that" feeling... One thing that makes me realise how good my car is, is when i get back from an interstate work trip (driving a hire car) and then get to jump back into my Euro. Its an awesome feeling, and make me so glad i don't have a falcadore/prius/other typical hire car.

I think it really depends on the individual's expectation of the Euro as to what he/she thinks of it later. If you purchased it thinking it was a sports car, you're going to be disappointed from day 1, and probably more disappointed 1 year later.

I plan on keeping my Euro until there is a better car on the market for a similar price (and i hope its the next euro!)

I drive my girlfriend 2007 Honda Civic a lot, it's a great car to drive but it's no Euro. It's then you really notice how good the all round package is of the Euro.

I've only done 23,000 in 21 months. Still love the Euro. Finally upgraded my wheels and springs so I've fallen in love with her all over again!

I've had my Euro for 2 years now , Currently on the odometer it shows 27,911. I don't drive much , but the car is great and it has no problems . The car does feel like a "driver's" car . :p I'll tune it if I had the money . :)

I'm driving a rental yaris (manual) and now I realise how good the Euro is in terms of ergonomics, comfort and drivability.

No - it stays here as it is model specific question. Not every question needs to be technical in nature.

Ive done 37 000km in 2.5 years. Not many really. My car still feels pretty new actually! Thats why I didnt re-lease a new car and kept it to mod it. I made the right decision. Its a good car.

Got 77,000km since mid-05 and still going great. Just did a whole heap of mods in the last 6 months and the car is driving nicely. I just drove my dad's Civic Vi Hatch today, the steering and handling are so far behind, it's not funny!

I bought mine in 2003 as well, i'll be hitting the 50,000km soon. I still love my car the same from the day i bought it. I quite often drive a s15 instead of my Euro. So for me its really nice to have a quiet car with no mechanical problems to drive around.

May 2006.
37000km.

Loving it especially when driven in the 'sweet spot' of 3500rpm - 4500rpm.

Only problem is that it's also getting to the stage where maintainance is expensive. Tyres $1200, Oil $80, 40000km service coming up .............

Purchased in the beginning of January and has been driving 13800 km. I thin I travel too much? During workdays I travelled 70-80km daily. Weekly average 450-550km.
