An alternative to Innovative Mounts DC5

Hi all,

I just installed ALEX motorsport solid mounts.

Idle at 700-800rpm is ok... a little more than my mugen and spoon damper b4,
however it does shake everything in the car.

Will see how it goes in 1-2 weeks time.

The rear vision mirror is quite hard to see due to the vibration at slower speeds, and the exhuast note has been stepped up a notch in terms of loudness.

how did the mugen compare to this and stock?

Stock one is crap, moves 2 much.
Mugen is same shape as stock, however the rubber is stiffer.
Vibration on the mugen one increases a little, but not very noticable.
On the track, it still allows 2 much movement even with an engine damper for my liking.
If you want a good balance, mugen mounts with front or rear inserts will be sufficient.
