Hi All,

I dont really see DC2's with driving lights in Australia.

Im not sure if they were ever offerred as a factorr option of sorts? The reason why i ask is simply because im after a bit more lighting power.

Im not really after HID's, dont like the way they are and dont need the added attention. I'm yet to adjust the beams as they are pretty low at the moment, and are only going to get worse when i put the coilovers on this weekend.

Anyone used driving light? or any recommendations?

try to adjust your head lights first

I found when I got my lights readjusted at Honda they were much better, previously they were terrible.

HID's will work good with your DC2R - considering it has projectors there will not be so much "scattered" light ( IE glare) and your field of vision will of improved. Go for 4300 to 6000k and you will be happy :)

8000k is fine too, it might have a tinge of blue and all, but it does still penetrate through rain, well for me anyway... but 8000 is fine, police hassle about my recaros and never the lights

I found the stock lights on my dc2 weren't great..but also bodykit covering part of the headlights doesn't help rofl....

anyway I have 6000K hids...white with a slight tinge of blue....

they are bright and give good vision.....

I still had to adjust the beam because my right headlight beam was too short and pointing too centre.

if you want brighter lights than hid's are the way to go. try replacing your stock bulbs with after market ones like phillips crystal vision.

I think this might be your best option as well.

Using after market bulbs like Phillips Crystal/Diamond Vision or MTEC etc etc will prove to be worst in the rain.
(I know because I've had Diamond Vision on my previous car and just installed MTEC 4700k extended watt on Thursday when it was raining).
